UAB obtains four million euros in funding in the R&D&I programme under the call for Campus of International Excellence

UAB obtains four million euros in funding by the Spanish Ministry for Science and Innovation's R&D&I programme under the call for Campus of International Excellence. Under this call, the Spanish Ministries for Education (MEC) and for Science and Innovation (MICINN) evaluated UAB's strategic plan summary to become a Campus of International Excellence which was presented in its full version in November of the same year.

UAB obtains recognition as "Campus of International Excellence" and a credit of ten million euros

 UAB obtains recognition as Campus of International Excellence (CEI) with a plan based on alliances with surrounding R&D&I centres. UAB's goals focus primarily on boosting nanoscience and biotechnology activities as strategic lines of research in collaboration with the ALBA Synchrotron. To finance this project UAB receives a credit of ten million euros.
