The Governing Council (Consell de Govern) is the highest body of collegiate government at the University, and therefore establishes its strategic plans and programmes, as well as the directives, regulations and procedures for their application, in the organisation of teaching, research, human and economic resources and budgeting. This Council also assists the Rector in carrying out his functions.
