Loans
Loan service of documents from UAB Libraries and technological equipment (laptops, e-books, USB pendrives, etc.)
To use this service, you must belong to the university community, have an accredited card and go to the loan desk of each library.
Addressed to:

All the members of the UAB: professors, researchers, students and administration and services personnel.

External users of the University who belong to entities with which there is an agreement for the use of the loan service.
Loans of documents
All members of the university community and authorised users can borrow documents from UAB Libraries.
Most of the libraries' documents can be borrowed.
Number of documents that can be borrowed according to type of user:

Degree students and Administration and Services Personnel: may borrow up to 6 documents.

Postgraduate, Master or Phd: may borrow up to 12 documents.

Professors and trainee research staff: may borrow up to 35 documents.
Loans can be renewed up to 6 times if no other user has requested them in the mean time.

Activate your loan history
You can return books from other UAB libraries in any UAB library.
Laptops loans
Some UAB libraries lend laptops for 4 hours (renewable once for two hours) to use inside the library.
Laptops include Windows XP, Firefox and Explorer, Microsoft Office 2007, Open Office, Adobe Acrobat, among others programs, as well as access to Internet through Wi-Fi connections.

E-books and E-readers loans
Some libraries offer e-books and e-readers loan service.
Loans of other materials
Some libraries offer the loan service of diverse materials, such as calculators, USB pendrives, headphones, mouses, etc..
Inter-library loans. Consortial Loan (PUC)
Professors, Researchers, Degree Students, Administration and Service Personnel and Friends of the UAB can use this service.
It is a free of charge service that allows to personally borrow documents from any of the libraries of the Catalan Public Universities (UB, UAB, UPF, UPC, UOC, URV, UdG, UdL and Biblioteca de Catalunya). Documents can be requested by:
