What is the Erasmus Mundus programme?

The Erasmus Mundus programme aims to strengthen European cooperation and international relations in higher education. The programme funds high-quality European master's degrees, allowing students and lecturers from around the world to take postgraduate studies at European universities, while promoting the mobility of the European university students with other countries.

It also provides European Union grants to non-EU students participating in these European postgraduate programmes and to EU students wanting to study outside the European Union. These grants are for highly qualified students coming to the EU to take Erasmus Mundus master's programmes to work.
