It is very important that you contact the secretary of User Information Office before you apply for your degree (tel. 93 581 30 10 / email: ep.titols@uab.cat), to verify that all your documents are valid, and to learn what you must do, step-by-step, when applying for your degree.

All degrees issued by the university carry an academic fee to be paid by the applicant.

When you pay this fee, the bank will provide you with a receipt which you must submit to the Graduate School, together with a copy of your DNI, when applying for your degree.

The application for your degree may be completed in person at the Graduate School, by someone on your behalf with your written authorization, or by regular mail. In this case, you must download the application form and mail it together with your receipt and a copy of your DNI to:

We suggest you keep a copy of any documents that you send by regular mail.

Once your application is received, you will be provided with a certificate as proof of application. If you have applied by mail, the certificate will be mailed to you to the address listed on your application form.

This certificate has the same legal validity as your actual diploma, and it will be the only document to be used as proof during the period prior to being issued the original, which may be between six months and a year, approximately. When the original is ready, you will received notification by mail or email so that you can collect it.

You have two options to collect your degree:

• In person at the Graduate School (you must bring your certificate and your DNI).
   
• Authorizing someone to collect it on your behalf (he or she must bring your signed authorization and a copy of your DNI, as well as his or her ID).
