The creation of this Masters degree has emerged from the adaptation of the previous Special Education postgraduate course: Therapeutic teaching methods in new and changing educational scenarios with a clear line of work: train educationalists to manage classrooms and educational institutions, adapting the educational response to the specific support needs within a framework of inclusive education for all.
This Master consists of a common module and two tracks: one is more school-orientated, Support strategies for inclusion in schools; the other is more social, Support strategies for inclusion in socioeducational contexts. In the first case the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya has recognised and validated the qualification as a special education teaching qualification, as long as the Masters degree is accessed via the Pre-school or Primary School teacher degree or any specialist area.
- Diploma holder in teaching and all specialities.
- Diploma holder in Social Education and Social Work.
- Degree in Teaching, Psychology or Educational Psychology.
- Bologna Degree in Primary Education, Pre-School Education, Teaching, Social Education or Psychology.
- Degree with CAP certificate/Master in Secondary Education.
- Anyone with a university degree or diploma and complementary training or work experience related to the subject area of the Masters degree.
