Description

The University Nursing School at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau through the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona wishes to offer a Masters degree that will give nursing professionals the capacity to respond adequately to the need to personalise care for children and their families and coordination between the different levels of care. This course aims to offer a humanistic approach setting out from the knowledge of the meaning that parents and children give to their health experiences, as only by doing this can they be understood within their framework of reference and adequate support offered.

For those of us working on this Master's degree course, it is an opportunity to take responsibility and due respect to be able to offer a response to the needs of society within the area of paediatric nursing in relation to promoting better health, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of health problems and therefore achieve a good start to life and better future health.
