The online Master in Business and Institutional Communication (11th edition-March 2012) is a pioneer program in its area, taught completely from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB). It focuses on learning the role of the Communication Director in the company and the institution.

This innovative graduate programme opens up to the new international university education: the virtual university.

It aims, on one hand, to take advantage of the new technological and social conditions offered by the information society to extend and improve the services that have been offered by the traditional master for over a decade; however, it also aims at implementing an educational strategy in the media that makes up the core of the master programme, in a real and practical way.

Graduates of the Master in Business and Institutional Communication of the UAB will be able to work as communicators in all kinds of companies, institutions, and organizations in general.

The programme for this Master trains students to develop management criteria and abilities. They will be able to lead complex departments as communications directors or take on any specific role as another professional in the department.

This training is general and global, providing knowledge that may be applied in consumer product companies, service industry, public and private institutions, non-governmental institutions, political parties, advertising agencies, public relations agencies, communications consulting, press offices.

The integral communicator and the management of intangible values are an acknowledged requirement which consolidates itself year after year.
