Description

The Master's degree in Basic Sciences applied to Orthodontics offer knowledge at greater depth of the basics for fundamental diagnoses and the posterior planning of orthodontal Treatment.

Even though basic science in orthodontics is acquired in undergraduate courses, professional practice requires the application of those bases in daily clinical tasks: drawing up diagnoses and treatment plans requires the application of knowledge beyond the mere concept.

Studying dental growth and dental pathologies enables the recognition of orthodontal problems and the definition of their characteristics; studying the different diagnostic methods and treatment plans enables individualised diagnosis and plans to be drawn up for each patient.

This Master's degree works on applied knowledge, orientating the student towards a professional career in daily clinical work.

Admission requirements

A degree in Medicine with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits, or the equivalent in medicine, odontology and stomatology.
