For the last ten editions, the MAVT has trained future audiovisual translators, not only in traditional techniques (dubbing and subtitles), but also in increasingly more common methods such as voiceover, audio description, subtitles for the hearing impaired, or translation of video games, among others, all over a theoretical and methodological basis.
These different methods are applicable to a wide range of products such a s film, TV series, cartoons, reports or documentaries. This programme prepares students to work as free-lancers or as permanent staff in different areas of audiovisual translation.
- Degree in translation and interpretation, language and related fields.
- Other degrees with proven experience in translation, prior evaluation of the candidate's CV by the coordinator.
In all cases, advanced level of the original (English) and target languages (Spanish or Catalan) must be certified.
