Description

Analytical Psychology, based on phenomenology and hermeneutics, offers a conceptual framework that includes clinical aspects together with the individuation process, encourages prospective and creative dialogue between the conscious and unconscious mind, and treats personal processes as promoters of creative coexistence.

The first to develop it was C.G. Jung. In 1948, the C.G. Jung Institute was founded in Zurich. Currently, the International Association for Analytical Psychology includes over 30 psychoanalysis societies in various countries in different continents. Every three years, it celebrates its International Congress.

The programmes develop the three main areas of study of analytical psychology: the therapy session, the stages of life and the relationship between the individual psyche and the collective aspects.

Admission requirements

- Hold a University Degree of at least 180 ECTS or equivalent, to the area of Health Sciences, preferably related to psychology or the medical specialization of psychiatry.
