The graduate certificate in Tourist Landscapes and New Technologies: Aesthetic Theory and Cultural Heritage Management is a programme of professional specialization with the goal to train experts to work in the interpretation, visibility and signalling of cultural heritage and landscape by means of information technology and communication (ITC¿s).
It is an interdisciplinary programme that tries to combine knowledge from areas such as human geography, telecommunications, cognitive sciences, aesthetics, cultural studies, cultural management, graphic design and signalling.
It has also a strong practical component, since it aims at training professionals capable of creating new systems of labelling, signalling and promoting the landscape and cultural heritage making use of the new digital technologies, a field that has just taken off and offers many possibilities.
