This Computational Science and Engineering programme is multidisciplinary and focuses on the application of methods and techniques in the fields of computational sciences and mathematics to emerging problems in science and engineering. This programme brings together teaching staff and students from all over the campus who share a common interest and need for computer-orientated research that transcends standard research capacities which do not belong to computational science and the typical desk-top computers.

This postgraduate course aims to train engineering, science or mathematics graduates as well as appropriately qualified professionals giving them the skills required for understanding and using applied mathematical modelling and computational scientific technologies in industry.
