Today, training in outpatient emergencies and disaster reliefs is required due to the the growing demand for professionals with expertise in this area.
For many years, accident victims were taken to the hospital, to the emergency room, in ambulances which, in general, were ill-equipped and by vocational care personnel.
Studies published lately have demonstrated that quality care during the first hour following the accident is basic to prevent and avoid sequels. or to diminish the seriousness of the situations that may be generated.
