Due to the increasing demand for professionals in the areas of health and education and the movement to learn more about DMT, this programme was created in 2007 and became a member ECARTE (European Consortium of Art Therapies in Education).
It is possible to continue DMT training in the Master once this programme is completed and pending an interview with the course coordinator.
- This course is aimed at bachelor and associates and professionals in psychology, pedagogy and medicine with experience in dance and/or expressive movement.
- People with professional experience
- To be able to read texts in English with little difficulty
- Commitment by the student to engage in a personal psychotherapy process during the length of the course
- An introductory weekend is required for people with no experience in creative therapy.

This course does not offer any training in DMT, but rather an extensive introduction to its application, some of its techniques and tools.
Without having to complete the clinical practice and supervision hours, professionals in this programme can learn techniques closely related to DMT and integrate them into their professional and personal requirements.
Students who complete this graduate certificate in DMT cannot register as full members of the Spanish Association of Dance Movement Therapy (ADMTE), but they may join as associate members.
