The International Welcome Point (IWP) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona provides information for students, lecturers, administrative staff and services staff from other countries.

At the IWP, at the Plaça Cívica, students can find out all the information they need before they arrive, resolve any queries regarding academic life, obtain their UAB student card, see what activities are taking place, find out what grants are available, get help with finding accommodation, ask about the different services at the university and find out about the available language courses.

Information for Incoming Erasmus Students:

Due to the arrival of a big number of International Students at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona at the beginning of the Academic Year (September-October), the International Welcome Point offers you the possibility of applying for a PRIOR APPOINTMENT (scheduled appointment) between the 1st of September and the 31st of October. This way you will avoid long queues when you come to the UAB to be registered as an international student.

If you are interested in arranging a prior appointment, please send an e-mail to: International.Welcome.Point@uab.cat, providing the following details:

*Full name
*Passport number
*Telephone/Mobile
*Appointment proposal (from Monday to Friday from 10 am. till 3.30 pm.)

You will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of the appointment, with a date and time as close as possible to your request.
Please, print this confirmation e-mail and bring it with you.

Note: Remember that you will always be attended by the International Welcome Point even though you do not have a prior appointment.
