UAB's EHEA degrees are structured in a 3+1 curricular development. The first three years consist of compulsory subjects, while the fourth year concentrates on optional subjects and a compulsory final project.

In accordance with the directives established for the implementation of new EHEA degrees, all studies will include work placements, worth a minimum of six credits and a maximum of thirty. These can be either a compulsory subject which forms part of the core of the studies (Practicum), or an optional subject which can be taken in the fourth year (Work Experience).
