Introduction
The degree in Nursing provides general training for nurses with scientific and human preparation and sufficient skills to assess, identify, act and evaluate health needs and treatments of healthy and sick people as well as their families and other community members. Once you complete this degree you will be capable of formulating strategies in health promotion and disease prevention and carry out activities which contribute to the recovery of illnesses or the cares needed for a decent death. Within the health system, nursing professionals share tasks with other health professionals in terms of planning, organisation, management and assessment of the health system.

ECTS methodology consists of a continued assessment and evaluation of all academic work done by students.
Professional training
You must complete 81 compulsory work placement credits distributed in different clinical areas of the health care sector: hospitals, primary care and social health centres.
